Apace vStor v2100 (DV/HDV Class) & v2200/V3000 (SD and cHD Class)
are shared network storage for DV, HDV, uncompressed SD (1:1, 8- /10-bit),
DVCPRO– HD, and Compressed HD video capturing and editing applications like Avid
Xpress/ Adrenaline DNxHD, Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut Pro/ HD, Grass
Valley EDIUS/ HD, Avid/ Pinnacle Liquid Pro and Sony Vegas. Multiple editing
workstations can simultaneously access the storage pool and share the content
through ubiquitously available Ethernet. Shared content can then be sent to tape
or directly broadcasted on air. Users with Ethernet access can review the
content from their desktop using QuickTime or Media Player: no client software/
license or special hardware needed! vStor product line offers deterministic
latency/ jitters with guaranteed stream count for clients served over the
gigabit Ethernet. A predetermined number of client nodes and their traffic can
be served in real-time with a designated vStor system with heterogeneous
software and operating systems. vStor platform offers users the same experience
that they enjoy from a local drive, while they are able to also access and share
the content with other editors to greatly reduce total storage requirement for
raw footage and to improve productivity via collaboration.
v2200/v3000 vStor series offer an added layer of
collaboration called TotalShare that allows for Project File Sharing & Sequence
file sharing for Apple FCP, Adobe Premiere Pro and Grass Valley/Edius
users. This feature is offered to Avid and non-Avid users for the first time via
Apace vStor Series. vStor series products offer low latency,
jitter free editing with assured quality of service over GE and 10GE network. It
is easy to use, simple to maintain, versatile, scalable, and reliable. It
includes software, real-time optimization, fault-tolerance and RAID 5
implementation, multiple Giga-bit Ethernet interface, integrated GUI software
for user account, project, network, storage RAID management. It supports low
latency and jitters free high throughput applications with great capacity,
flexibility and economy never seen before. It minimizes the downtime for your
